At Capestry, every piece is crafted with intention, care, and time. We want you to feel your absolute best in what you wear, and if something doesn’t feel right, we’re here to help.

If you wish to request an exchange, please write to us at support@capestry.in within 7 days of receiving your order. Our team will assist you with the next steps.

Eligibility & Conditions

To ensure a smooth exchange process, please note:

  • Items must be unused, unwashed, and in perfect condition with no stains, marks, or damage.
  • Exchanges are valid only if requested within 7 days from delivery. The exchanged product will be delivered within 10-15 days.
  • Exchanges are applicable for products of equal or higher value (price difference to be paid by the customer).
  • No returns or exchanges are offered on Sale / Discounted products.
  • No custom orders can be exchanged or returned.
  • Since many of our capes are made to order, we offer exchanges or store credit only. Refunds are not applicable.
  • Store credit will carry a 6-month validity and cannot be applied to sale items.
In Case of Damage

If your order arrives damaged, please notify us at support@capestry.in within 48 hours of delivery, along with clear images of the issue.

  • The product must be returned to our studio within 7 days for inspection.
  • If the damage occurred during transit or from our end, we will repair or replace the item and ship it back at no additional cost.
  • The cost of sending the product back to us will be borne by the customer; Capestry will cover the shipping cost after repair/replacement.

For damages caused through regular use — such as hardware issues, loose embellishments, or minor wear — we offer complimentary repairs within 1 month of the product being delivered back to our studio.

Additional Notes
  • Capestry accepts exchanges only for products purchased directly from our website. Orders bought through retail partners or exhibitions are not eligible for online exchange requests.
  • Items sent back without prior email approval will not be accepted.
